For Sale WW2 Transmitters-Receivers/Tubes Parts/Testers/Antennas

by Frank Castigolne

I am looking to sell about two trailers worth of WW2 Radio Equipment. This includes 80% of the SCR-299,everything but the speech amplifier. The (BC 610-H) is in good condition. Some of these are going to have to be cleaned up. They have been sitting in a garage and are dusty from about 40 years of sitting.I am not going to part this lot out,so if you want a certain piece, I am sorry in advance. The set includes the antenna chest with about 3 sets of antennas and 5 boxes of parts that are approximately 4 feet long by 1 1/2 feet high by 2 feet wide, the boxes are filled with parts,tubes,cables/wires connectors and small diodes and such. The trailers that I am picturing are the regular flatbeds about 6x12 feet in length. The BC 610 weighs about 4oo pounds. The other large radio weighs about 400-500 pounds. All together, I really dont have an actual weight there are just too many pieces.Below is about a third of what I have. There are 4 pieces that are about 4 ft or taller. We also have a large stack of original manuals. I'm located in south Texas. I'm asking $3,500 or better offer. Someone posted a BC-610 by itself for $2000 on Ebay a while back. I simply do not have the time to post each item individually and ship. I priced it extremly low so it will sell. I am also not looking to give this away, the price is close to firm. I am selling everything as a lot and will accept cash only. This is pick up only. I WILL Not accept money orders, or checks. For the price, it's well worth the drive, or fly and haul back. I posted a couple of pictures, but will post more as time allows. Thank you and God Bless!

SCR-284 complete

by

Family history states that this unit was one of 4 to be used in a "special" operation within the Solamon Island chain to establish listening posts to monitor Japanesse Naval movements.
The mission was scrubbed and my wife's uncle who was attached to Signal Corps at the time ended up with 2 of the these radio sets. One of which sat in the attic of the house we would end up buying from my wife's grandparents for 60 years. To the best of my knowledge, the set is complete. There are spare tubes, headsets, mics, hand crank generator, full attenna in sections in OD green canvas bag, a very heavy dynamotor for jeep or truck mounting, 2 massive OD green steel base mounts for a ?whip? attenna and an OD Canvas bag to carry all the spare parts with wire guides for the ground attenna and manuals. Bright Orange Signal Corps stampings mean..?jungle proofed? I can can send some pictures to any that are of serious interest. This unit was never used to the best of my knowledge. Seen pics of same types used on D-Day calling in Naval shell fire from the Normandy beach-heads.

Let me know what you think.

PRC-47 New in shipping can.... all modules packed seperatly in air tight can. Complete accept case...This is genuinely BRAND NEW not a salv/Ovhl. Included with this will be RTTY adapter, several cables, multiple ant's, huge TM and box of acc'ys and a used Case. Asking 850.00 for all plus S&H...Have access to 40% off UPS to save you on shipping.

GRC-19 complete on VRC Mt. with box of acc'ys, canvas etc. Unit was new in '70's crate...used for display only...is very cherry. Have shipping orders, cables and what not. Can't guarantee operational capabilities of either of these units but I promise the PRC-47 is Brand new. The '19 has been out of the crate for a few years as a Military display but is supper clean...I fired it up once and used a dummy load for Trans...and it worked
fine but who knows....I am asking 750.00 for the '19 and will also include a big box of god knows what all Mil-radio stuff with it.(not all of it is '19 stuff)

Chrystal case with over 350-400 PRC-6 (and what ever else they fit) chrystals....I am not going to pick out by Freq.....but there is an unbelievable assortment of Freq's and as well the styro interior is in great Shape and so is the case....If you have a need or a market with reinactors etc..... this could be a chance to make some $$$ as I see these for 7-15.00 ea......I will be asking 700.00 for the whole case of them..............Guy

FS: KLM ECHO 70 SSB XCVR

by

KLM ECHO 70 UHF SSB TRANSCEIVER

10 watt SSB transceiver for the 70 cm UHF band - switchable for the 432 MHz
segment for terrestrial and moonbounce contacts, or the 435 MHz band for working
via satellites. The receive frequency can be swept automatically for monitoring the band. Has 6-pole silver plated resonator filter in the front end
for exceptional selectivity and immunity to interfering signals. FET first r.f amplifier, external VFO jack and many other features. Can be used with transverters for the higher bands.
Switchable USB - LSB - CW modes. Has SQUELCH, RIT control. Requires 12V DC power supply at 3 amps.
Interestingly, "KLM" stood for Ken, Leeland, and Mike, the original group
of Ken Holladay, Leeland "Mel" Farrer, and Mike Staal who together started KLM
in California. The ECHO name refers to the fact that many guys used these radios for making MOONBOUNCE contacts on the 144 MHz and 432 MHz bands.
This fine transceiver comes with the original KLM microphone and appears to be
in very good condition as it came from an estate. Includes a PDF copy of the
Operator Manual that you can print if you wish or just read via computer. Pictures and details at:
http://www.af4k.com/radios.htm

Available for $95.00 plus shipping
