This is actually a two quetsion post if thats okay.
1.) When i masturbate, i do not get wet, but i still get an orgasim. If this happens when im with a guy, does this mean i should not do anything with him? I know lubrication is important, but is it important when you are alone?

and also ...

2.) is it true that there are several kinds of orgasims? i heard that there were vaginal and clitorios orgasims. is there truth in this?

Vanessa,

If you do not lubricate when you masturbate it is ok ---but you might find masturbation even more enjoyable if you used artificial lubrication.

When you are having sex with someone lubrication is more important because you know how much pressure to use and when --he has a harder time figuring this---being exact is less important with lubrication. Lubrication makes sex easier and enhances sensations.

Yes, there are at least two kinds of orgasms for women. The clitoris is a very small part on the outside of your body - and stimulating the clitoris causes for most women full body explosive orgasms. G-spot/vaginal orgasms are more concentrated orgasms. They more often involve ejaculation.

Whatever kind of orgams you have is great! The more you have the more you will have!

Jo,

Lots of women never experience vaginal orgasms. Some women seem as if they can't. I know very few women who think a vaginal orgasm is better - most women I know think a clitoral one is much much better.

Being wet

February 6 2004, 7:45 PM

1) I dont understand how you can not get wet while playing with your self. To me it seems a to be a vey natural thing

2) How is a guy gonna put it in you unless your wet. Or unless he has a small one. even then it has to feel much better when your nice and gushy. To me the wetter the better. When it runs down to your anus, then it is a good time to do play around there also. JMO

Some women do not lubricate/ get wet. It can be because of their hormones or a medication they are on. That is why artificial lubrication exists. I don't think many women lubricate enough not to need artificial lubrication ( and i say this as a woman who lubricates A LOT.)

Do you think that a woman who is sexually excited and lubricates normally or more, (gushes) is a very sexual person with a big sex drive ???? then a woman who always has to lubricate ????.

( and i say this as a woman who lubricates A LOT.)

Are you trying to give me a mental picture ????? of your self ;) LOL.

John,

A vagina is designed to self-lubricate. And sexual excitement is supposed to increase the amount of sexual lurication. So it follows that a person who is more excited will lubricate more.

BUT -there are lots of things that make a woman lubricate less. Ususally right after her menstrual period she is very unlikely to lubricate very much, if at all. Mentruation dehydrates the body.

A women who is an athlete may not lubricate very much is she doesn't replenish the liquids she loses when active.

A person who uses diet pills may not lubricate as a big part of diet pills is to keep the body fluids down to a minimum.

Other medications also dehydrate the body.

If it is really hot outside and a person is sweating a lot they may not lubricate as much.

On the other hand - a woman who is ovulating (just before her menstrual period starts) will almost always have much more lubrication than usual.

I always use extra (silcon) lubrication because vaginal lubrication is not in endless supply -it does dry out with enough friction, whereas silicon lubrication practically lasts forever. If there was just one thing most people could do to make sex better- whether it is masturbation- heterosexual or homosexual sex- it would be to use a GOOD QUALITY artificial lubrication. I hardly ever not lubricate a lot -and I NEVER do anything without usng Eros lubrication.

John, feel free to have all the mental pictures you want---they'll never compare with the real me <S>!

Susan
