A little intro. I'm 24 years old and a college student.
Okay as the title states, I was wondering if there is a way to have sex sans sex. What I mean is this: I am a virgin. I intend to keep it that way till I tie the knot with that special Ms. Pinkerton out there. :) That being said, I have no idea what sex is like or feels like. I do know that it's different with different people...I guess you can say I'm just excruciatingly curious about what it's like to, well, "connect". Okay, I'll stop with the metaphors now. For the most part what I am saying is that I'd like to have some alternative that would get me as close as possible to sex without actually doing it. I've heard about sex toys and such but wouldn't really know what would be called realistic because I don't know much about them. I did hear that vibrators in these things aren't the same as the inside of a real vagina when a penis goes inside. That's just kind of what I'm going for. I'd like to be able to have the real thing (or close to it as possible) without actually having to do real intercourse.
I think it is really great you have decided to wait and I understand your curiosity. Having sex is a decision everyone needs to make based on their own values.
A sex toy is exactly what you need! I'll try to explain the different kinds - and not that I have used these myself - I hope it helps. Maybe some some of the guys who read this will come out of lurking mode and post some of their experiences with sex toys.
Plastic, jelly sleeves
These are just sleeves you insert your penis into and then you do the work- you either squeeze the sleeve are pull your self in and out of it while holding on. There are cheap plastic ones that blow up ( and actually work well) - there are more expensive jelly ones, and they there are ones made of cyber skin Some are closed ended - so you ejaculate into them and they are a pain to clean up -others have open ends which means you drip on the floor.
Artifical vaginas
Same principle, but they figure you need something that looks more realistic - so the one end has a "realistic " looking vaginal opening to sink your penis into.
Vibrating vaginas
Again same principle, except they have added a vibrating bullet. it may be electrical or battery operated. It adds additional sensation.
Penis pump
Men use this to marginally enlarge the size of their penis for a few seconds - but while you are pumping it does ( I am told) feel like having sex. The pump can be a hand pump, or a battery or electrical pump.
Men's sex toys can be pretty expensive. More expensive is not necessarily better. Sometimes they are more expensive because the celebrity "realistic vagina" get a bigger royaly check than the unknown.
