I would think that cutting off the blood supply to an organ, especially one with that many nerve endings would not be a good idea.

•it stretches or snaps or clips open
•it leaves enough space that you can get your little finger under the cock ring
•you leave it on to maintain an erection no longer than one hour

DO not use rings that are not adjustable in any way.

You put it on after you get an erection - so it doesn't help if you can't get any erection at all. It might help a weak erection get a bit stronger though.

If you use Viagra it can still be good to use a cock ring. Viagra helps you to get a strong/hard erection, while a cock ring helps you keep whatever erection you have.

Depends entirely on the individual guy. I've never known a guy who wouldn't benefit from a cock ring. Viagra on the other hand is mostly needed for older guys, but it is not an old guys' drug - it is a drug for guys who need no matter what the age.

You may want to consult with your doctor to be sure - but the ring goes around your penis only. ( Although some people do like to put them around their scrotum too.) So I don't think the varicose vein in your scrotum would be effected. In your shoes, I 'd try it, and if I felt any pain what-so-ever - pull it off. They don't cost much and I think the risk would be worth it.
