Anal sex is actually pretty clean in terms of what you see. The "gross" stuff is farther inside. A penis really doesn't go in very far. But when a penis has been inside your ass it cannot go anywhere else until it has been thoroughly cleaned (even if you use condoms). To me that is the biggest turn-off about it .
Yes, it almostly always hurts the first time- and for some people it always hurts. I have nothing against anal sex- but your ass really wasn't designed very well for sex. The vagina gets bigger and small to accommodate the size of a penis- an anus can't do that. You need to use lots and lots of good quality lubrication - because the other problem is that your anus does not lubricate at all.

Personally I would never shave anywhere near my clitoris. One mistake and it would hurt like hell for longer than I want to think about. If you have a lot of it- you could just trim it with sharp scissors. Do a search for shaving - this question comes up a lot and others have had suggestions. I do not shave anywhere because I have no interest in trying to remain stubble-free.
