Karah,

Since I don't know what you are doing with them it is hard to say.

And also I don't know how old you are or how sexually experienced.

Vibrators and dildos look like penises for a reason I do not understand. What makes a woman orgasm is her clitoris. When a sex toy is shaped like a penis an inexperienced woman thinks the sex toys belongs in her vagina. Sliding a sex toy in and out of your vagina is only going to make you orgasm if it also rubs up and against your clitoris or if the right shape your g-spot. So my first guess is that you are using them wrong.

The best sex is well lubrication sex. Lubrication makes things slide, more sliding more sensation, more sliding more likely irritation so you need lubrication. I use Eros silicone lube and nothing else- because I think nothing else compares. But there are other silcicon lubrications on the market - and some water based one that are good too. So investin a bottle of lubrication. There is a link at the bottom of the page that takes you to a page with a bunch of stores - try Condoms Express for lurbication.

Masturbation takes a lot longer for women than it does men. Men do it all the time because it happens prettty quickly and then they have to wait awhile before they can do it again - so it seems like they do it a lot more than women do --timewise. Women take a long time to do it--20 minutes to an hour is not unusual. So I would guess you might not be doing it long enough.

There are other possibilities - but I'll leave it at that for the moment.

I've also numerous vibrators, and the best ones I've found that work are the rabbit pearl type ones. They have a rotating shaft, and also twitching rabbit ears that vibrate to stimulate the clitoris. Orgasms aplenty guaranteed. Have fun.

Susan's response is very helpful, I just wanted to continue talking about lubrication. You said that you have a collection of different sex toys? Just keep something in mind.

Susan swears by Eros silicone lube, and for good reason. However, be very careful using silicone lube with sex toys made of silicone or cyberskin, because any direct contact with the toy and lube, and you can MELT YOUR DILDO! Either use a different type of lubrication with those, or put a condom on the silicone toys before applying lube.

Good luck with the big O!

I'm from the UK, and have never heard of the lube Susan mentioned, but I can recommend Durex Play, it's water based and can be used with condoms too

Eros is available in the UK. Just check out the ErosUK link on my web page: http://www.sexsupport.org/sites.html

Eros is not known by a lot of people - but when I found it I knew I found the best.

Petroleum or oil based lubrications are things like baby oil, vaseline, mineral oil, natural oils, and some skin creams. These should never be used inside a vagina, but are good for male masturbation and anal sex. These kind of lubrications eat up latex condoms, cervical caps, and diaphragm - so should never be used with those.

Water-based lubrication can be flavored or flavorless. (But all have a sweet taste). They can be used for any kind of sex and are safe with latex condoms and all kinds of sex toys. The only problem with water-based is that it dries out rather quickly.

Silicone lubrication is a water-based lube made with silcone. It is water proof - so it can be used in water. It is thicker, has virtually no taste, and lasts for a very long time. It is safe to use with latex condoms. Some sex toys are made of silcone and you can't use silcone lube with those- but you can with all others.

There are hundreds of different kinds out there. Butit you try EROS first you will be spolit for the rest.
