I have a question. I am 26 yr old guy. I masterbate using my right hand. I tell you this because after I am done masterbating, the left side of my testicles feel real sore. As I feel them more I can feel that it feels really different from the right side. Now when I have sex with my girlfriend I cant keep an erection. It is really really embarssing. It makes me feel very old. I am ashamed to talk to my doctor because I dont want him to touch my testicles. Can you PLEASE help me with some advice? I know the obviouis is to stop masterbating and the pain will go away. But even then my testicles feel a little funny. Does this mean I have something? Can this be treated? Is this common?
Sorry, but I have to recommend you go see your doctor. What you are describing does not seem right to me at all. I do not recommend stopping masturbating - masturbating I am sure is not the cause. Pain from masturbating is a warning signal - but not the cause.
Not being able to hold an erection is not something only old guys can't do. It is something men of all ages can't do. It is a normal part of aging (except it no longer has to be because of Viagra, etc) - but it also can be a signal that you have something wrong with you.
It could be something where there is nothing to worry about - just start taking Viagra and/or learn some new tricks about your PBC muscles.
But the pain could be something very serious like testicular cancer or you could have something in your testicles twisted and need surgery to untwist them or you could have an infection or a hernia. There are many possibilities - some more serious than others. It is not likely to go away on its own and could get much worse.
Pain is a signal that something is wrong. You let your girlfriend feel your testicles? Well let your doctor feel them too---it could save your life!
