Susan's right about it not affecting your size. The only difference would be comfort, i would recommend briefs or whitey-tighties for any type of sport activities so that your boys aren't banging around and don't start to feel like you got hit there. Otherwise i usually wear boxers!

I wear briefs, tongas and thongs. I don't like boxers because they feel like shorts. Whatever works for you I guess.

I'll be Brief ( you could only hope)

If you are comfortably lounging around the house in your boxers ( kinda doubling as Bermuda shorts), unplanned company could drop over, and because they are a little loose around the legs (the boxers), you could be displaying "big John and the twins" to curious eyes ( effectively the world as people do talk) and not even know it! Worse yet, if you should happen to get an erection, and it pops out the "front door" , it could be even more embarrassing and very "hard on" your nerves. Boxers also might be a little drafty on a cold day with a good wind.. Boxers do give you a lot more room for arousal... something briefs don't do..Personally, I think you will get fewer erections with briefs as body heat is retained more..as we all know, excess heat is the enemy of an erection.
Briefs are a little more protective as they keep your testicles higher and tighter to your body.. maybe not so good on a hot day..heat wise. It is impossible to pee out the little flap of the briefs if you got an erection. and if you finally get it out, you'll never get it back in...trust me.
If you happened to be active in sports like skate boarding, basketball or similar, or riding a bicycle with briefs, you could take a fall or hit safer when your testicles are not hanging down so low. I don't think it's a good idea to have them bouncing around loose continuously...as they are subject to VARIOCELE (harmless)...which feels like a small bundle of worms in your scrotum and produces a dragging sensation and if bothersome, should be surgically fixed. Just my personal opinion.
