I never quite told the whole story. Which the whole story is scary as hell to me.
Me and my boyfriend had sex no protection, you already know that. I ended my period on the 31st of August and we had sex the 2nd of September. Then on the 5th of September we had sex again, but it was protected. Later when we finished and he was getting off he said "Holy s%^&" and I said "What?" He showed me the condom and the top of it was ripped 1/2 way off the friken condom. He said he did cum in the condom, but when we looked in the condom all/most of it was gone. I looked down at me and realized what just happened and how much more of a risk I am at. My mom knows the whole story and even though it all scares me to death I need to know the facts. I don't wanna get overworked on something thats not needed. Not saying it's not needed. I wanna know what are the most fertile days to get pregnant. I had it 6 days after my pf ended. The condom broke and 3 days before I had unprotected. Honestly and truthfully how big of a risk do I have???? What are your beliefs??? When would be the best times to take pregnancy tests??? Where should I go from here???
Hopefully you'll be able to help.
Sadly what you have done increases your risk to be pregnant. The first time when you had unprotected sex you might have gotten pregnant, but your body wasn't ready for a pregancy - so nothing happened. But then your body would have been trying to be in better shape to be pregnant- so the second time when your protection failed your risk of being pregnant is higher than it would have been had you not had the previous incident. So what are your chances--still low - but not nearly as low.
I suggest you take a test in 2 days - the 10th. But all this will tell you is if you got pregnant right away the first time and maybe if you got pregnant the second time. It will NOT tell you you are not pregnant. A negative test at this time means absolutely NOTHING.
To find out you are not pregnant you have to wait until at least the 17th. That will still not be definite, but it will be more likely to be true. If that is negative - then wait for your period and cross your fingers.
Even if you have your period it is not absolutely definite you are not pregannt. SOMETIMES young women still one or two periods while they are pregnant.
Since you have had unprotected sex twice, I suggest you take another test after your period is over - and then if that one is negative you are almost definitely in the clear.
Since you have told your mom you are having sex- as soon as you know you arenot pregnant it is time to get very serious about birth control. There aree lots of choices. But if you really do not want to be pregnant you need to use condoms and another method too, As you lnow know condoms break!
I'll be waitingn to hear what happens with the first test.

You'll be hearing from me on either the 10th or the 11th.
Whether you believe it or not you've been a significant help to me. Thank you so very much.

fertility

I also wanted to add what exactly is fertility. I mean I know it's when your more likely or so fourth, but my mom was talking to me and telling me how fertile I am or something. I am guessing it's heriditory b/c she was saying how my mom was VERY fertile and her fertility was very high. Maybe you can explain that to me as well.
I really hope I am not an inconvienence
kristen~
Fertility is about a lot of different things. Some are things you can control and some are not. Genetics is what you can't control.
My mom tried for ten years to get pregnant with me, Her mother tried for seven years. I have never been able to get pregnant. This is because of a couple of things I know about all of us and some things I know about me. One is that we all 3 have had very irregular menstrual periods - that means we have hormones that don't work very well. All of our periods have also been painful. Hormones are needed to get pregnant. All 3 of us have had thyroid problems - thyroid is a kind of hormones and it is also needed to get pregnant. I have very acidic vaginal lubrication. Vaginal lubrication either helps you to get pregnant or it hurts you - acidic vaginal lubrication kills sperm. I have a tipped uterus - that means that it is harder for for sperm to get where it needs to go to impregnate me.
I thought you were adopted? Your mom and you have different genetics.
But a person who is fertile probably has had very regular menstrual periods, They probably had their first mesntrual period when they were not very young- maybe 12 or 13. They probably experience very little pain with their menstrual periods. Probably has normal weight- not too fat or too skinny and doesn't need to diet to stay that way. They are probably of ordinary height- not too tall or too short. They are probably not a redhead - for some reason redheads are unlikely to be very fertile. NONE of these things are absolutels - they are just indications.
Some people get pregnant the first time they have sex - no matter what time of month it is. Other people try and try and try and nothing happens.

ME

I got my period when I was 12 years old. I have never needed to work out to be in shape, but sports are my life so it's all I do. I am pretty short though I am 5'1, I have never missed a period and I always get them 28 days from each other till 31 days, one time it was like 32 days. My mom told me my birthmom was very fertile. I am a brunnete, when you read those out about fertility it made me think and what I thought of was WOW that sounds like me. I have never had pain with menstral period. So if your more fertile which I am guessing I am what does that mean I am that much more likely??
Yes Kristen, sorry to say evrthing you say increases your chances. But on your side is still that it was veyr early in your cycle. Don't lose hope. My fingers are crossed for you.
