When someone is castrated/ testicles removed -the chance of having an erection is very very small, but not impossible. It can be increased by the use of medication.

A person who is castrated will probably not shrink in size, but some men do. It does not keep shrinking no matter what.

Some men get castrated because of medical conditions - like cancer of the testicles. Others have accidents that damage their testicles. Men who are sexual predators are sometimes chemically castrated as a punishment. Men who want to change their gender - become women -get castrated. Some men who are pedophiles under go voluntary castrated as they cannot control their feelings.

I've heard about people who would find it justice when a guy gets castrated when he is a rapist, but i never heard that its actually done because of this reason. In wich country or in wich us state is this horrible thing done. I just find it very degrading that that is done. Also when its about rape and pedophilia, the men are always the ones who did it and the women and children are the victims. Well overwhelmingly this is true, but there are also female rapists and female pedophilia's in this world. I saw a few yeasr ago on the news about pedofilia in holland and they showed a few seconds of a clip were you saw three naked men touching some naked kids and later a naked women joined in on the action.

Yes chemical & surgical castration is done. In medical castration, the testicles are not removed - they are just made useless by a medication that must be taken for life. There is no comparable chemical "treatment" that could be done to women to accomplish the same thing - and the situations are slightly different .

Yes, you are right that women do rape men, and that women are pedophiles. I will not dispute that. But in the overwhelming number of cases it is men- heterosexual men or men who self-identify as heterosexual.

Surgical castration is used in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Germany - although Denmark now uses chemical castration. The US program was styled after successful reductionof repeat violent pedophiles of 3% versus nearly 100%.

California, Montana, Colorado. Hawaii, Washington, Massachuisetts, Tennessee, Oklahoma, USA have chemical castration laws. Oregon, USA, New Zealand, Italy, and Austrailia have voluntary programs- instead of jail Texas (law signed by our current president), Florida, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia and Alabama all have surgical castration laws.

These laws are used with repeat pedophies and rapists in MOST cases. Research has demonstrated that there are people who are repeat pedophiles that seem to be unable to change their behavior. They are not excited by or choose to engage in sex with people of their own age- they are only attracted to children. They are usually violent criminals. They may want to change their behavior, but cannot. There appears to be an actual hormonal problem that creates the problem - it is actually out of their control. This is partly why this seems to have been an exclusively male problem- this hormone is a male hormone and if it existed in a woman at these high level she would appear to be a man. The other thing to know about these sort of pedophiles and rapists is that nothing seems to help except to change their chemical/hormonal balance -therapy does not work except in a very very few cases.

There are pedophiles that do homosexual or heterosexual acts to children that are not this same sort of pedophile. USUALLY they are people who would prefer to have sex with people of their own age, but cannot or choose not to find partners of their own age. They choose not to - either becaue they are living a straight life and fear exposure should they have sex with an adult man OR they are in fact homosexual and are attracted to children or cannot find an appropriate partner die to general insecurities around sex. In all of these cases -therapy does seem to help. The pedophilia is what is called circumstantial ---change the life pattern- find appropriate sexual partners and the pedophilia stops.

Chemical or surgical castration is seen as an option to never allowing a person freedom again. There are documented cases of men having been repeat violent pedophiles -going to jal for many many years - and the minute they get out committ pedophilia again - and others who have agreed or been forced to be castrated never to commit a violent crime again.

Castration is rarely used in the US - a few cases each year in the states that allow it. It is used only in the most severe of cases. Chemical castration works only as long as the person takes the medication prescribed and is reversible - surgical castration is not reversible.

Concerning that your think that i'm from Germany: No i am not (thank god). When i say Holland, i'm referring to the most important state of my country and that would be the Netherlands. I had to laugh :-D when i saw it, but it i've heard it before. I was chatting by coincedence with an english guy and another Dutch guy, but i had enough of it and started to speak Dutch to him and then he asked what kind of language it was. My land mate then said that it was Hollands, wich was the incorrect way of saying it. He then asked if it was like a kind of german? But i later said that it was Dutch and then he said "oh Dutch, gotcha".
But in general i think it is wrong to compare the netherlands with Germany, its like comparing America with Canada.

I have a program that tells me where people have coem from that come here- but it is not message/post specific. Somettimes if I am curious I check the IP adddress to where a poster is from, but not usually.
