This isn't directed completly towards you susan, more of a general question for anyone that wants too answer.

Just out of curiosity...
1. How did you *everyone here* meet your lover?
2. Where did you meet?
3. What did you talk about?
4. How do you guys go about the first couple minutes of starting up what could be a long-term relationship?

too give a bit of background on myself, i'm super shy. I've had women look at me with the look of like "come here and sit next too me and lets talk" but i've always just looked away avoiding eye contact too shy too accept and go talk to them... I'm not shy about saying this, but i met my lover on a computer game, it allowed me too talk too her and when we were ready we could see how we looked like. We fell in love with eachothers hearts, not physical appearance.

3. We talked about the game, and then talked about what we wanted from a relationship. (I can never completly remeber the first couple minutes of meeting a new friend my mind just kinda blanks it out and i forget)
4. Well.. again can't really answer that, I just walked up too her in game and jokingly married her in game. we ended up spending that night together and many nights after that talking till sunrise *again.. i can't completly remeber what we were talking about...*

I'm sure many of you will tell me it just comes naturally, and if my current relationship doesn't work out i'm sure i'll be completly off guard and then WHAM! love will strike me again. I wasn't lookin for love or even a relationship when i first met my current gf but now were talkin about getting an apartment together and starting a family even marriage.

1. First met - I have no recollection, nor does he -----but it was online in Compuserve's forum HSX.

2. We met face to face the first time about 4 years ago. He happened to be flying to see a girlfriend in Chicago and thought he could layover to see me. He did and sparks flew.

3. I don't recall that we talked much. We did and still do most of our taking online and on the phone. We talk about most anything- although I seem to talk mostly about disability rights -and he talks mostly about technology and cooking. We both discuss sex a lot!

4. I make sure anyone I meet knows exactly where I stand on a bunch of sexual issues. Some have to be accepted exactly as is- some are open to a little negotiation.
