Hello Sue ... i have had three small white balls on the back of my penis' head that look like pimples for 3 years now. I'm only 16 years of age and I am not curcumsized. I've always wondered what does balls were but i am embarassed to go to a doctor or tell my parents about it. Do you think it could be herpes? Please help me ... i need to know
It is definitely not herpes. In fact I can practically guarantee you that they are absolutely nothing to worry about. It could be clogged skin pores, it could be ingrown hairs, or it could be hair folicles where the hair just hasn't grown yet. You could have them forever or they could disappear tomorrow. They are absolutely nothing to worry about unless they start to grow ALOT bigger, start to ooze, or become painful.
Or they just could be some of the cute little glands that secrete the lubricating substance for your foreskin that the guys in the locker room comically refer to as "cheese". If so, I had those too and it seems they are very active and rather pronounced (somewhat ugly) at that age, as you are approaching your sexual peak. Don't feel bad....I asked my doctor that very same question at the cost of an office visit.
