Why I delete posts.....

Some of you may wonder why some posts do not seem to appear that you write or wonder if there are posts you never see and what they say.

I delete posts for a very few reasons:

1. They contain obscensities and really have nothing in them to say about anything at all.

2. They contain information that is incorrect. I do post posts that contain information I personally disagree with - as long as that information is not fact-based.

3. They contain information that is hurtful to a person who has posted.

4. They contain confidential information about another person with identifying information.

5. They simply do not add anything to the discussion (repeat the same information) or are not addressing the question that is being asked.

#1 happens rarely - but when it does happen it is usually a lot - all the same person on the same day.

#2 happens rarely - and I usually try to correct the information rather than just not post the post.

#3 happens too frequently, but no where near as often as it used to.

#4 happens frequently, but I can usually edit the post and still post it.

#5 happens the most frequently . I love it when people post their own opinions about what a person needs, but please read the question carefully , and only answer when you know what you are talking about.

Susan
