Personally I think that most really dumb questions have a grain of truth in them. It may not seem so - but I would rather take a question seriously than mistake taking a serious problem as a joke.

So if you guys have a good time when you get together writing absurb questions - go for it - I'l try to write back serious answers.

I believe that I would respond the same as you do.
The wayward dilinquent who tries to turn you on with an eroneously "dumb" question that is so absurd or facetious to provoke your intense criticism or ridicule, will be anxiously waiting to see what kind of surprising answer he gets. This is the appropriate time to respond in an intelligent,educated, experienced, mature, informative manner as if it were a real question. The right way is to pretend you don't notice.

He will be reading your every word carefully to find out how he turned you on, and in the process of doing this, he will be accidently assimilating a small amount of knowledge, perhaps not possible in any normal, conventional way. This will thwart his original intention, and in some small way, may even augment his perhaps obvious lack of writing and reading skills, and perhaps give a small negative jolt to his little immature "trickster" brain. He will eventually move on...it takes 2 to converse...you would win on an intelligence level simply unapproachable by him.
So, that's why you do, and I would, and I wouldn't change a thing. Your doing it right!

There's a saying that a joke is 50% truth. So looks like Michael, Brian and Gary actually have some deeper issues when they're coming up with their stupid questions to post.

I think that a few people who post here are just posting for the fun of it and are just making up some of their stories. My favourite was the guy who had sex with his dolphin and was hurt by the dolphin's ejaculate fluid. Now, I've seen images on the internet of women having sex with dogs and horses but never dolphins.

I resent what you said. Stupid? Who are you to judge? So it's true very few people do what I do but it's the truth! You people really have a way to make people who have what you call "absurd" problems feel even more isolated. Way to go you jerks.

Oh you find it FUNNY do you? You don't see me laughing when you have sex with whatever you have sex with. You should respect other people's sexuality.

Take it easy Brian. I was just joking man. I promise that we will try to be a bit more considerate of everyone's questions regardless of how silly they may seem. It's just that some of the recent questions were really unlike anything we have ever heard here before. It seemed like the people posting were making the stuff up just for a laugh. You can't blame us for being amused.
