Hello Susan, I'm not sure if there is such a thing, if it exist but is there a temporarily pill or a shot that can stop a woman's breast from growing? It's weird how my breast rapidly grew from a 38C to a 40DD in a short period of time. I want it to stop growing now since it is proportional with my body and is comfortable now. I am a little worried since 2 of my older sisters (I am 20 years old)had to have breast reduction since it grew incredibly huge; I don't want to go through all that. I'm just a little curious. I tried looking it up but didn't find anything on it.
Unless you have something wrong with your hormones - nothing you can do, but wait and then have surgery. They should be pretty much done growing very soon.

Usually, girls tend to have breast enhancement surgery, but I know that some chose to have breast reduction. I guess this is done to prevent them from growing to the size of cantalopes like the girls on a Jerry Springer episode. I think that they actually had extreme breast enlargement for attention though. I think that people should be happy with the body that they have.
Clay....some women suffer pain and spinal problems if their breasts are very large. It may not be an issue of happiness, but instead one of health and pain-freeness.

not just physical pain...

I am 22 with size 38F breasts and even though I don't have pain or spinal problems now I have considered breast reduction several times. If it ever gets painful I will definitely get the surgery. It's not just to prevent breasts from growing to the size of cantaloupes...there is a lot of psychological pain that comes with having large breasts.
Clothes never fit right. I can never wear button down shirts because if I buy a shirt that fits the rest of my torso, it's coming apart at the breasts. It took me almost a year to find a good wetsuit, and I had to have it custom made. I can never buy bikinis unless they let you buy the top and bottom separately. Shoulder bags and purses have to have extra long straps (very few are made that way) if you want to be able to cross it over your chest.
It is hard to move around with large breasts. It's difficult to run unless I have a very binding sports bra and they get in the way of lots of exercise, especially weight-lifting. Seatbelts in cars dig into them and can become painful because they are meant to lie flat and well, my chest isn't.
The worst thing by far though is the staring. I am a grad student and most of the people in my department are men...my chest has had conversations with many of them. I feel like I have to work twice as hard to earn their respect because of my breasts. People stare at me on the street, sometimes little kids point and giggle...oh well.
I don't think my body is bad-looking...it just wasn't made for this society. I still don't want to get surgery because it would feel like I'm admitting there's something wrong with me. Still, I can understand why lots of women get the surgery even if they don't have any pain.

I somewhat agree with you Clay. I am happy with them, but I'm afraid they may get to the size of my 2 sisters. Like Susan mentioned about the pain, my sister's had back pain and one had breathing problems and right when she slept on her back, she had to sleep on her side all the time. So, i'm just a little worried really. My mother scared me the other day when she said, "Oh my God they got sooo big, do something about them." She always have something so negative to say so that worried me more. But i guess they are stopping here since I don't feel any sensitivity like before, it was a little sore since they were growing so fast. Anyways thanx and i'll try to stop worrying.

Susan, since larger breasts are mostly fatty tissue and water, is it possible that taking high protein supplements will cause them to become more muscular and reduce thier size? That could be a natural way for Rita and bio~girl to shrink their breast size. Just a suggestion.
There are no muscles in breasts - so no.

Actually I thought that the breast did have muscles since body-lifters or any women who exercise a lot have muscles there and their breast do decrease in size and muscle does take over. ??
There are muscles that support the breast - but the breast itself does not have muscles. Women who exercise to extreme - exercise away all or nearly all the breast fat.

One more question regarding the breast...I've heard that wearing a bra to bed is good because it keeps the breast firm and in shape, I've also heard the opposite, that it's unhealthy because it doesn't give the breast enough space and it doesn't allow blood flow, etc. What do you think?
I have much bigger breasts than you. I haven't worn a bra is about 30 years except for specific dresses that only look good wearing a bra. My breasts I am sure are no different than I had worn a bra all these years.
IMO bras are forms of torture created by men to make women look young forever. Young women don't need bras and older women need to learn to accept their bodies as they are.
Wear a bra if you like - but whether you do or not will make no difference is how your breasts look once you take it off.
Susan..you kind of made a point so I'll mention what I've noticed. Many women, who have larger breasts, also have a slight overweight problem. Since, you said that a breast contains mostly fat, it must be possible for a woman who is proportional to her breasts, to exercise and lose fat, hopefully, uniformly within her body. I realize that this is extremely difficult to do, but I would think it would become the first option before surgery, and a lifelong habit to have good nutrition.
Strengthening the muscles beneath the breast would give more support and firmness to the breast and require less support from a bra, so thus more comfort.
On women who have large breasts on a rather thin body, I would think better nutrition put into toning muscles under the breast and elsewhere, would help reduce the size.( not like a body builder) Energy coming into the body would feed the muscles first with less deposited in the breasts.
Make any sense?
Makes sense, but it doesn't work that way. Breast fat isn't effected by your overall weight. The fat around your breasts and your back is, but not the breast itself. Basically it is hormones and what nature gives you.
Susan... you stated about breast fat:
Makes sense, but it doesn't work that way. Breast fat isn't effected by your overall weight.
When I married my wife , she weighed 150 and had small breasts.
Now, that she is a little heavier, her breasts are much larger.
There has got to be something to being heavier and having larger breasts...personally hers are just right for me so it's not a problem. But, you say no...it doesn't affect them. They have been heavily massaged by yours truly...could that be it?
Oh...yeah..young...age 23...and I didn't think of that.....just...one kid at age 36. Something about slippers under the bed...:) presto.... a beautiful little girl.
I hear a girl complaining their breasts are too small so they say boys won't be attracted to them.
I hear girl complaining their breasts are too big so they say boys are too attracted to them.
Both girls want what they other has.
If only they knew how beautiful they both are.
And their affect on men. Wear something low-cut or a bathing suit and it is impossible for men to not notice.
Many women seem to not realize their power.

Nick, Rita and the other girls with extra-large breasts have valid concerns, since this may lead to back pain down the road. It's too bad that surgery or steriods seems to be the only options available for breast reduction.
But my point is there are countless women saying "I'd do anything to have big breasts like hers."
It's why breast enhancement is a multi-million dollar industry. Multi-million dollars spent by women.
Meanwhile many women who're naturally big want to be smaller.
It seems few are happy, no matter what side of the greener grass they're on; that's sad.
I hope people can see how awesome they are.

I get what you're saying Nick. It seems like people will just never be quite satisfied with the body that they have. It's like how many of us guys always complain that our penis is too small.
