Hi susans I just took monistat 1 last night and this morning the discharge is coming out in a liquid form and im bleeding and my clit and vagina are still a little itchy. Could this medication triger my period because i am late with my period by 2 weeks and im not pregnant. Can yeast infections delay periods?

Did you see a doctor who told you it was a yeast infection? Have you ever seen a doctor who said you ever had a yeast infection.

If not you need to go see a doctor. What seems like a yeast infection can be something else.

Monistat is not going to stop the itching in one day - two if you are lucky.

Yeast infections do not delay menstrual periods, but some other infections do.

You need to see a doctor.

Susan
