Hi, I have been married for 3 years and I figure I would have been "adjusted" to my husband's penis by now. However, everytime we have sex my vaginal walls end up very sore and swollen. We have tried extra lubrication but that is not the issue. This ultimately makes me not want to have sex anymore. Can you make any other suggestions?

Have you ever talked to your doctor about this?  The fact that you are swollen inside sounds like it is either he is pounding inside you too hard (and then he needs to lighten up/ change postions) or maybe an allergy to something you are using during sex. 

Do you use condoms? - could you be allergic to latex? Have you tried different lubrications - could you be allergic to one of the ingredients in the lubrication?  If you are using waterbased - try silcone and vice versa. If you are using flavored - try unflavored.

If none of the above - then you need to discuss this with your doctor.

Her problem is the inside - not outside. The only reason hair would cause painful intercourse is if it was pulling - lubrication would accomplish the same thing with a lot less effort. But thanks for joining in!
