I agree with steve on this subject....Clay you need to get a life and quite critizing peoples lives and get your own.

Clay you can bring it on anytime. OYu should not have to always have susan edit your post she is doing a good job at what she does people have real problems that they want answered in confidentiality. I don't think its fair that you always edit Clay's comments and you let Steve's slide through. His comments were completely rude, and for you not to edit them, it must be that you agree with what he said.

Clay has posted here hundreds of times. Dozens of them have been edited. Clay has been warned repeatedly about what he posts. I have gone through long periods of just deleting his posts because it took up so much of my time to make them acceptable. Many people have requested that Clay be banned for this site. For a long time Clay's posts have improved - but lately they have started to be get worse again.

As far as I remember this is the first post of Steve's that has been unacceptable. I warned him just as I initially warned Clay. Everyone makes mistakes - and everyone deserves another chance.

Clay - I understand you don't like being criticized. But this particular post has put you on final notice. You have crossed the line too many times. It is stated very clearly on this page and on the home page of the entire site that people will be respected when they do not write well. When you post out of ignorance or a difference in values I find it tolerable. This post and what was deleted is intolerable.

So from now on I will not edit your posts. If a post requires an edit - it will simply be deleted. You KNOW the standards I demand here.

This is not a democracy. It is a dictatorship. I demand people respect others here with their words - even if they do not respect their actions.

If you cannot say something supportive and helpful or questioning- do not say anything at all.

I've been on this site for almost two years, from long before clay started posting to now. To put it truthfully it was better without him. From the first time clay posted, there was a significant change in the feel of the forum, it lost its free love type of spirit and suddenly became infused with petty arguments and insults. clay's inability to recognize his own intolerance of anyone's beleifs other than his own sparked constant controversy and turned over half the posts into flame wars. Nearly everyone posting at that time was getting mad at clay over the stupid and inconsiderate comments he would make. People's questions stopped getting adequately answered since all the conversations turned into arguments with clay. I can remember a few times that I just didn't respond or ask questions b/c I didn't feel like have to read the garbage that clay would be posting, so I have no doubt that others felt the same way.

If it were I in charge, I would have banned him long long ago, but Susan is a far better person than I and has given clay countless opportunities to redeem himself, which thus far he has pretty much failed in doing. I guess she's hoping that maybe one day it will sink in and he'll become more understanding of others and learn how to tactfully post replies so that they will not be deemed offensive. Banning him to start with would never allow him to achieve that awareness and he'd continue on in life not realizing how to deal with people who have different viewpoints other than his own. I've lost hope in him though personally and don't think he's capable of this change, as he doesn't seem to be making any type of conscious effort to do so. He also has an affinity for replying on topics he has absolutely no knowledge of (which in all honesty is near everything on this forum), forcing Susan to sit there and edit all of his posts and constantly state that his information is completely incorrect. I would have him booted if given the opportunity.

I find it conveniently interesting that for the past while that clay has not been posting, that the old "feel" was coming back into the forum. But as soon as clay posts again an instant flameware errupts.

So excuse Susan and the rest of us if we don't side with clay or have any sympathy for him.

clay, I've been reading this forum for a good few months now, and I have only posted a few times. I personally find that about 99% of your posts or either redundent, insulting, or applogising for a privious insult.

it's ture, you can post how much you like to whatever you like. none of us can stop you doing it. but why do you feel you can make work for susan just because you can't use a slight bit of common sence?

That's not right, and it's not fair to susan. She shouldn't have to clean up your mess just because you can do it. Maybe you should start taking responsability for your own actions and think before posting.

If you think that it's been said before, don't post it. If you think someone could take offence to it, don't post it. If you know susan will have to edit it, don't post it. If you know you will probably have to aplogise later, don't post it.

It's all common sence. Please, use yours.

Sorry guys for causing so much trouble on Susan's forum. I will try to be more understanding of other people's questions/beliefs. Please don't ban me from your forum Susan. I promise I won't be rude anymore.

Clay - it is not differing opinions people object to - it is when you offer information you do not understand or have no experience with, or when you condem other people's sexual behavior that is different that what you choose to do.
