Hello Susan, I was wondering if you could answer something for me?
My doctor has recently informed me that I am obease. -_-
I don't like that word and honeslty dont' thing I am. Overweight, yes. Obease. No.
But none the less. I've started working out and have done some diatary changes.
Now, I am one of the few woman in this world that likes my boobs at their current size. I sit at a 42C, and I like them. They are not too big and not too small.
My worry is that the exercise will change them. My mum told me they will get smaller as I'll be losing fat and what not. A few of my friends told me they will get bigger. I really don't need to go up to a D or more. I've currently lost about 2 inches of fat from my gut, and my boobs seem bigger, but then, they would since my stomach is smaller right? I was just wondering.
Your breast size is something most people think of by bra size. When you lose weight you will definitely lose some weight in your Bra number. Like a 38 will become a 36 or a 34. But the letter number will not likely change much. A D might change to a C, but not likely more than 1 size. And you are right - when you lose weigh your breasts look bigger because what is near them is smaller.
If your doctor thinks you should lose weight, then your doctor is thinking that you will live longer, be healthier and be happier. It certainly isn't just you...our whole society is getting heavier.
I like boobs too, but health is WAY MORE IMPORTANT! Being overweight causes all kinds of problems later; bad knees, legs, feet, back, shoulders along with potential clogging of arteries and working the heart too hard and much more.
Personally, I do not recommend a "diet" for what it implies...a temporary fix that you use like a band aid. Rather than that, I suggest permanent lifestyle eating changes along with some exercise daily. The nice thing about it is that you can do it yourself and you can see and feel the changes.
Learn which foods to avoid and avoid them or cut down quantities of them. Sometimes, we are just looking for taste rather than amount. I sincerely wish you luck...I know you can do it!

That Disney teen actress Lindsey Lohan had a dramatic appearance change recently. In the trailer for the movie Herbie, she looks great, fit, healthy, and curvacious. Yowza.
But in public recently she's now bleached blond, quite thin (almost sickly looking) and nearly flat-chested. How she looks in recent appearances to promote the movie is so different from how she looks IN the movie, that I heard on CNN that, to minimize confusion, when making new posters Disney removed her image and just used a picture of Herbie.
Damn, huge weight loss and breast loss. It's sad, and I didn't understand that weight loss = breast loss.
Why would any girl do that? To be very blunt, breasts physically excite men. It made her less hot not more.
I think the showbiz image of what beauty is, is VERY warped. Anorexia does not look hot, it is gross.
I think if your average middle-class heterosexual male picked the images for magazines, you'd see a lot more women like Marilyn Monroe, a lot more curves, and a lot fewer stick models like Kate Moss, who look more like hyperfeminized boys. Eww.

I agree with Nick. Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ricci (from Simple Life) both used to look good, because they had a decent figure. But now they both have lost too much weight and look anorexic and sickly. It's a shame what shobiz can do...
You have to understand when your famous and you one to be in the lime light there is alot of competition with the other stars. Every one wants to be thin and look young and hot. If they don't people start criticising them that there fat. Its just as hard for normal woman who want to look like the girls in magazine. Its hard for all woman. Like i said society sucks

Hello Gregorio....
I know. Trust me. I know.
My problem is, my insulin level is high. I just decided to go up one day. There was no change in diet or exercise. I was 8, and quite littery, one month I was small and thin and the next month I was chubby.
For the longest time, doctors just told my mum to keep me at the same weight...and I would grow into it. But when I hit the latter end of puberty...I gained again.
It's fustrating...b/c I do work out and am active. When I was younger I was in sports like wresteling, track and feild and swimming. shrugs
I'm not so vain that I think when I lose my brests I'll look ugly. I just like my little boobs where they are at...and plus...changing a cup size means I have to buy new bras...and I don't have money for that :o
When anyone talks about their weight, it always is a sensitive subject and I certainly do not wish to offend or insult you or anybody else. If I did, I apologize.
You did not mention high insulin levels in your first post so I posted using the information given and common sense..pretty much similar to your doctor.
Basically, the insulin problem has, as I understand it, caused a slight weight gain, and in the process, you developed a terrific set of breasts that you are really pleased with and really never want to lose. I understand, but I still think your health comes first.
You are all misunderstanding breasts. Breasts are not made out of fat - they are made out of breast tissue. There is a difference.
When you are fat breasts may seem to get bigger because of the surrounding fat. But the breasts don't get bigger unless your hormones change. (During pregnancy, while menstruating, during menopause, during puberty)
Women who lose A LOT of weight loose breast tissue when the fat on their bodies that can be lost is all lost. ordinary weight loss is not going to have uch effect on breast size - in fact the biggest change in size will be the loss on the side of your chest and your back - not cup size.

no...I'm not upset...and really...my weight isn't that big of a deal for me. like I said...I've been over weight for a very long time...i'm use to it.
it still kinda hurts when I'm rejected b/c of my weight....but I figure it's his loss not mine. :P
and I don't have big boobs....just a modist C cup. I've always thought them rather small compaired to other girls...but I like how the look...their size and shap and where the nipple is placed. I was abit worried I'd lose that as I lost the weight. But, from what susan says...I don't think I will...so I'm happy for that. :P
oh...and susan....OMG AND F?!?!?!?!?! dies of shock do you have any back problems? :o
No back problems. I had a c cup in 6th grade, and a d by the end of high school. I stopped wearing bras when I went to college, but have one for special occassions - last one I bought was about 3 years ago and was a 44 f.
If anyone here has noticed weight gain, do not be surprised. From the minute we leave our front door, we are bombarded by restaurants and fast food places. It is worse than ever.
When you get there, it's:
Do you want fries with that? No, I barely want that.
Oh, you're paying for the fries...you might as well get them.
Don't want them.
Egg on toast...do you want hash browns, bacon, home fries, sausage? No, your making me sick, 1 egg, toast with no butter and none of that other junk.
Pancakes...3,4, or 5 stack? Gallons of syrup to disguise the onions left on the grill. I want just one with no snow ( powdered sugar) and clean your grill. Diet syrup. I usually eat half.
Burgers...try our super quadruple, extra cheese, cardio vascular bacon, triple bypass, million calorie burger delight. I want one small burger with lettuce and tomato...no butter, no cheese.
I take a salad.
Kentucky Fried Chicken...it was the worst crap I ever tried to eat. It was salt and fat and somewhere in there was chicken. I threw it all away.
Dunkin Donuts...these donuts taste so good, but they are a heart surgeon invitation. I'll have something small, baked.
We went up to a breakfast place. My friend ordered a number 2, angioplasti special. It had piles of fat and goo on the plate with some mutulated food used for a fat sponge underneath...he actually ate it, but it shows that he does. He is about 80 lbs overweight and rising.I'll have the fruit cup.
Could you park an ambulance by the rear door?
Do you pass out reduced rate coupons at the heart transplant facility? Your body is trying to digest all that garbage and worse yet, you enjoy it till the old ticker starts working overtime, the blood pressure rises. Do you like laying on an operating table? Replacing overworked joints? Of course not. But,we don't think of it that way.
--------------------------------------------------------------
We all have to start making better choices in the foods we eat.
Look at all the people that are having arteries unclogged and it all adds up. These are the same people that are out of control. We are killing ourselves a little each day.
When you pick it up and it's wrong, don't eat it. I can do it...you can too! Are you kidding? No, it's a lot of work.
You got to start somewhere.
