i just reently had a baby and i didn't haVE TO get cut. does this mean that i am "loose?" and does this mean that i have less of a chance of getting completely back to normal? also i am now very insecure about my body b/c of my strech marks... is there any way to reduce them or make less noticable? thanx alot. your great!

The reason you did not have to get cut is that you have good muscles and your skin is young, healthy, and elastic. This is very good. his eans your body will go back to normal very quickly and very easily.

Stretch marks are the beauty marks of motherhood. They might fade after a while, but you really just have to get used to them.

Not true about the cocoa butter. This is something that is believed by a lot of women, but mostly the companies tell you this to sell more product. Stretch marks are hereditary. If your mother never got any, chances are, you won't get any.

is that really true?

I mean...I thought it happens when the skin is pulled past it's elacticity rate....so you get a strech mark...meaning the skin had to strech too far...I thought they were more like scares that never go away?

Skin elasticity is hereditary.
Scar's ability to flatten, lighten in color, form keloids, or whaever are all more than anything based on hereditary factors. Most scars disappear over time. I used to have a scar from putting my fingers in the toaster. They used to be very prominent and drive me crazy. If you look real hard they are still there and I can stll feel them if I scrape my finger over te - but they hqave prett muc disappeared. I have no idea when - they just stopped driving me crazy
