I would guess that is the way it is with your particular situation....he may be longer than others or you are carrying low or you have a large fetus or both. So, it would be prudent for him to go extra easy to avoid problems....maybe put a pad between you both to take up space. However, it really shouldn't stop either of you from having pleasure.
I remember going easy for the last 2 months. After that....oh God!
Remember, after you deliver and the doctor says it is okay to resume regular intercourse, you may become a nympho! That is: you probably will be ripping off your clothes at every opportunity and seducing him at a blink. That was my experience.

You may not be visibly very pregnant yet - but your uterus is changing and getting bigger and that presses into your vagina. Your vagina is changing because of the hormones that are changing in your body - and it get thicke rand spongier. All this might make it harder to get him deep inside - as there is no deep inside anymore - or at least not the way it used to me. And don't worry - its all in preparation for the baby and afterwards it will all go back to he way it was - more or less.
