Yea, what the title says. I've been googling and yahooing the question, and nothing came up. I'm curious to why most men appear to be attractive and turned on by pregnant women?

Supposedly it is because men are attracted to round, soft things. There is so much stigma attached toliking fat women that this is somehow better. Another explanation is that men first fall in love with their mothers when they are children and that this is reminiscent of that. Not really sure why, but I am glad they are- because most men who are attracted to pregnant women usually like bigger women too.

Susan...I'll second that! There is something incredibly sexy about a pregnant woman! They radiate an energy and warmth that can't be described.
Round things? Boy, that has got to be it, too! Round and desirable. We are also particularly attracted to the breasts which are usually smooth, soft, round and plump. I think thats the big reason because these breasts hold the milk of perpetual life and do reflect images of a man's mother. (You nailed that one down.)
These ladies also have a sparkle in their eyes, confidence in their demeanor and a special glow about them. And, they are NOT worried or concerned about getting pregnant which relaxes them. They are usually very happy and anticipate this great event.
It also gives special meaning to life. A pregnant women proves that life goes on in spite of any hardships. It's further proof that this beautiful lady has hopefully enjoyed a bountiful sex life and that everything is normal. It is also hope that life goes on.
And when she finally delivers and all is well,and she holds her newborn to her breast,it is a so very special moment and it will bring tears to the strongest man...and, at that special moment, nothing else in the whole world matters. Not money. Not pain. Not wars. Simply, nothing! A very treasured moment.
That is why it is important that all us guys need to love, honor and respect a good woman...they are so very, very special!

I was curious as well about this subject because ever since i've been pregnant, my guy friends have taken a sudden sexual interest in me. Thanks for the explanations! I find it rather funny though that men are attracted to me because i'm round and glowing grin

My opinion: Marriage is life and it is a very serious step where two people join hands forever. It involves sacrifice.
It results from a friendship slowly built over time; not done on a whim or for convenience. It is a solemn commitment to, as it says, love, honor and respect in sickness and in health till death.... It involves fidelity, trust and common sense too..
Without her, I'm simply a nobody gong nowhere...she more than makes my life complete..

It's fun what I'll stumble across on the net when I'm bored. Anyway, just found this little thread and thought I'd answer, since this is something I wondered about and thought on a number of times myself. It's not really quite as... poetic... as some would suggest. Nor is it as complex as others might. More of a primal thing.

The primary drive to a guy is to reproduce (hence our near endless sex drives). So, of course, to satisfy this drive the guy needs a girl cappable of reproducing. Obviously, if a woman is pregnant she's cappable of reproducing, thus fulfilling this requirment. Pure instinct really, not that that's a problem.

Sure, there could be other reasons, but I've found that's mine, and the reason for all the guys I know.
