Sex during her periodNovember 15 2005 at 7:49 PM | Jack Sworns (no login) |
| - Hey... this may turn some people off, but in essense this is more of a pure yes or no question, so here it is:
a little while ago, my girlfriend was going away on a very long trip. It was one of the last days I would be seeing her, so we decided to make it special... this meant intercourse, even though it was during her period. We did not use protection, I finished inside of her, but since she was having her period we didn't feel the need to use protection (and I have no problem with it)
but my question is: IS there any danger by coming inside a woman if it is her period? Can she still get pregnant, even if it was her time of the month and she's on the pill?
thanks for the responses in advance! |

Yes, there is still risk. The first day of a menstrual period especially. The pill makes it very unlikely, but not impossible.
Bottom line. Unless one of you is sterilized there is ALWAYS a risk. The risk can be small and made even smaller by using various forms of protection, but it is NEVER eliminated.

I mean, I'm still a little worried, so... how can that be? |

Well you have good reason to still be a bit worried - you should always be a little bit worried.
THat's why its called safer sex not safe sex. |
