Ok so about a month ago i started using birth control, and tonight me and my boyfriend has sex, and when we took off the condom, it was lightly tinted with blood clor- is that a sign of the birth control working or other serious problems ?? please write me back, i dont know where else to go

Is this the first time you had sex? Is your menstrual period due in a week or so? Was the sex rougher or deeper or faster than usual? Did you not use lubrication? Any of these could be the reason. Alittle nlood is nothing to worry about. It has nothing to do with your birth control pills working or not.
