I have been on Ortho-tri-cyclyn for acouple years now, for a 'syst' on my ovarie, and thats the number one birth control pill out there so i was just wondering if the guy has to wear a condom and me not get pregnate sence ive been on it so long. Thanks!

Only you can make this decision. If you have been on this pill this long it is going to be as good as it can possibly be - but still not 100%.

If you absolutely positively do not want to get pregnant - than still use a condom. If you are willing to take a tiny chance - than go without.

This is how I would make the decision you are in ------
if I got pregnant having sex with this guy, would I be OK with what I would have to do? If you would be OK being a single mom or ending up married to him - skip the condom. If you are OK with having his baby and then giving the baby up for adoption (and he could be the one to adopt) - skip the condom. If you are OK with having an abortion - skip the condom.

BUT if none of this is OK with you - this is sex with a guy you could care less if you saw him again, or have no idea if you want to spend the rest of your life connected to him via a child - USE the condom.

Most guys hate condoms, but don't let any guy pressure you not to use them. Until the day comes that you are not the person who carries the baby inside your body it is up to you primarily to be sure that you get pregnant only when you are ready to be pregnant.

AND TO YOU GUYS OUT THERE ---- if you are not ready to be a Dad - use a condom - no matter what she says. If she gets pregnant you can be sure she is not going to say - oops we should have used a condom like you said, I am going to have a baby and raise it alone and you can skip paying child support for the next 18 years. YOU have equal responsibility.
