Low Sex Drive - MenMarch 27 2006 at 12:23 AM | Jay (no login) |
| - Hello Susan,
For past couple of months I have low sex drive and I don't understand what could be the reason. Could be that I am not attracted to my wife because she has gained some weight or maybe it’s me turned off by sex. It's not that I don't want to have sex. Even if I watch porn it doesn’t help me to get excited. What can I do without taking any medications? Your help in this will be greatly appreciated. |

Jay,
Don't use your wife as an excuse. If that were true the porn would do the trick.
Examine what has changed for you. Are you working more and more tired? Has your health changed? Are you reaching an older age when a man's sex drive often gets lower (40+)? Have you stopped exercising? Have you changed your eating habits?
My guess is one of those is true.
If age is the factor - ask your doctor for a trial of Viagra. It will not likely work for this - as it for erectile dysfunction, but sometimes it does and it is worth a try.
And while you are at it - just get your health checked out in general.
