If a doctor has made a woman sterile from an operation where her uterus and ovaries have been removed - nothing will make her pregnant.

If a doctor has found that a disease or a disability has made her body not work right - nothing will make her pregnant.

If a doctor has given her a depo provera shot - she will not be able to get pregnant until it wears off - and that takes a very long time.

Sometimes these things don't work as well as a doctor thinks they did and you can still get pregnant, but it doesn't happen very often.

A woman can't do anything to change this.

Another thing. You did not tell me how old this girl is. If she is now old and was told this when she was young - many things have changed. What doctors used to think was true a long time ago sometimes we know now isn't true.
