Hi Susan,

So once again I am coming to you to seek advice on a problem that i'm having because you have always been able to help me with my past problems.

So last weekend I hooked up with this guy who was just a friend and he fingered me. Afterwards though now my vaginal area is like irritated but it seems to only be when I wipe after going to the bathroom. Its not like if you shave it may get itchy down there all the time, its just when wiping the area seems to be a lot more sensitive and its uncomfortable when I wipe. There is no pain when i go to the washroom either. It also is sort of uncomfortable after I get out of the shower and water has touched the area other then that though during the day theres no discomfort and everything seems to be fine. Do you have any idea why this would be happening???

thanks susan

Heather,

I would go to the doctor and get checked out for STDs/ STIs if it hasn't cleared up after having it for one week. I can't know what is happening - but wiping is causing a mild irritation that other actions are not causing. If it were a skin abrassion from not using enough lube or being too rough or doing it too long it would hurt just to pee. Since it doesn't hurt to pee this indicates that something is wrong only after it is rubbed.

Did the feeling start right away or did it take a few hours, a day, or what?

Susan
