Network54 says my name is taken...so do I sign up there as somebody else and then come back here and use this name here? Does this make sense?

Do I have to keep removing my email address (for obvious reasons) from the "optional email" line or is there some way to set it so it wont come up in that line?

If you fill in the email line it will always be there - that 's why its optional.
