Susan do you think that tanning helps cover up stretch marks?

My understanding is that tanning actually makes them worse.

Rosehip oil reduces the appearance of stretch marks. My mum swears by the stuff
I know there is a product called Bio-Oil that is supposedly brilliant too, but I don't know anyone personally who has used it so cant say for sure whether or not "brilliant" is the truth.

Another one is vitamin E. You can get it anywhere that has vitamins-they look like gel capsules. Poke the capsule with a pin and squeeze out the oily E, rub it in. It works better if used while stretch marks are appearing, but can help fade them later. It's not a quick fix, but does fade them over time.

I am getting my stretch marks off my body completely. No I am not selling anything... but just saying, this is what I use/do and it is working famously... I have every faith they will be totally gone. I swear by this method.

Also there is a Yahoo email group called 'stretchmarksolutions' where women debate all the methods for removing/helping them.
