orgasm

I know you have probably heard this a million times from so many people but I guess everyone is different so bare with me if you can. I'm a 22 year old woman and I have a hard time reaching orgasm during sexual intercourse. We have tried almost every position and place and still nothing. I FEEL horny and especially at firt during sex, it feels really nice but after a few minutes it doesn't feel as good anymore for some reaon. Starts to feel sort of numb I guess. Why is that? I was wondering if you know of any good orgasm enhancing pills or topical creams that would help me out.(That actually work)
And just a quick note: It seems the only time I can orgasm is when I masturbate with a vibrator on my clit. And the only time it really feels good to have something inserted into my vagina is when my bladder is full and it's more sensitive in there...but I still need the help of the vibrator. (Although I have had a very small orgasm ONCE during sex when my bladder was full...weird.) But my main concern is climaxing with the one I love through intercourse (normally) you know? Because I can't expect myself to have a full bladder or a vibrator on my clit every time we want to get it on you know?..lol. I appreciate any kind of help.
Thanks a bunch!

Well you described everything just like it is supposed to be. The reason it feels better when your bladder is full is that it put more pressure on the base of your clitoris. Your clitoris is really like a very very long penis with only the tip of it outside your body.

You are young and your body isn't fully mature yet. So the likelihood of your feeling vaginal orgasms isn't great. Lots of women never have vaginal orgasms. I can never have one unless I have already had a few clitoral ones.

So number one - stop thinking of orgasm as the goal. Pleasure is the goal. What feels the best to you?

Second, there is absolutely nothing wrong with only being able to have orgams from clitoral stimulation. The reason so many women "fake it" is that they think they are supposed to have orgass from vaginal intercourse. THe guys keep doing it hoping the more will make her orgasm when more doesn't help.

Third, teach the guy you are with to do with his finger, tongue, and your vibrator what you do with it to make you orgasm.

Well first off I would like to apologize if my last posting went through a few times. The network was acting up on me.
So it's comforting to know that I'm normal.:p Still sucks but I guess it can't be helped. I would like to however try masturbating with a special G-Spot dildo device. Which do you recommend? Also what in your expert opinion is the best topical creams or pills for women that increase the sensitivity down there for enhanced sexual pleasure? I would like to try some too.
Thanks Susan

Hey Susan, first off I hope you get this posting. It wouldn't let me just actually "post" only "reply". I have been experiencing problems on this site for a few days so..I'm not sure what's going on!
Anywho, I have a question for my mothers sake. She has vaginal baterialosis and has had it for a few years already and has tried everything for it (including a doctors prescription) and nothing seems to work for her. She has gone to several doctors as well and has checked out numerous wesites hoping to find something but still no luck. Do you know of anything that might help her? Thanks again Susan

First, what your mom has means they don't know what she has. But the balance inside her vagina is off and is causing problems. I had a similar problem for a long time and tried a bunch of things - most of which I still do out of habit. I had infections constantly until I did the following:

Stopped wearing underwear, panty hose, and pants
Stopped using abrassive soap - used facial soap for everything
Stopped using laundry soap with color or scent

Rinsed and rinsed and rinsed my vaginal area with a long hand held shower massage after a shower or bath.

Dried vaginal area with a hair dryer afterwards

Use baby wipes after going to the bathroom whenever you go for whatever. I used to use ones that were extra sensitive for babies, but now use any kind.

At the first sign of any trouble - I put on a smear of melaleuca dermatin - an anti-fungal cream. (Get it from http://www.melaleuca.com>)

I'll answer your question in a bit....

Susan

Hey Susan, does having bubble baths also increase your chances of getting a bacterial infection?

Bubble baths are OK if you rinse off afterwards.

As to your question... first I wouldn't use anything to increase sensitivity. I am sure you are fine - you just need to learn how to do what you need to do with what you have. If you aren't using a good lubrication that might be all you need.

Now for toys.

If you need something cheap. I recommend the glitter wand. I have it and I love it. But it needs batteries and I hate that.

My favorite is the Hitachi Magic Wand with the g-spot attachment. That costs more, but it is amazing. It is electric. And it is OK it its wet from when you orgasm. If I could have only one toy that is the toy I would have. (And Clay - it has one for the anus too!)
