Bleeding

Susan,
I have been bleeding after sex recently. I am 17 and just became sexually active. The first 3 times i had sex it was just a little spotting. Recently its been a little pudding of blood but it only happens right after i stop having sex (not continuing the next morning). I went to the doctor and i dont have any STD's. Do you know what could be causing this? It hurts right when I start to have sex but then its ok...why am i bleeding? What could be the cause???
Thanks for your time!!!

Bleeding is not a normal part of sex.

Did you tell the doctor you were bleeding? If you did he/she could have examined you for growths inside your vagina that might be get rubbed/pulled during sex.

Are you using lubrication. Women need lubrication. If sex is hurting, you need lubrication and you need more foreplay. Sex is not supposed to hurt - not even for a minute.

Sex could be too rough. You could be in a position were he is pushing inside you too deep, too hard, too fast.

Try lubrication first. I am betting that is your problem.
