this is something i have just been wondering...is it normal for a guy to be able to ejaculate faster masturbating then it is during sex? im guessing its down to the foreplay!

Yes,it is normal - for both men and women. It has nothing to do with foreplay - it has to do with you knowng exactly what you need and when.
