I am a 15 year old girl from California and recently while playing soccer with my cousin I was accidentaly hit right in the crotch with the ball, the pain came on to my area like a thousand hot knives, I dropped to the ground and rubbed my poor crotch. And I was wondering if it is supposed to hurt. See, I had always been told that only boys were able to be hurt there since they have nuts and well I thought that since I don't have any nuts its not supposed to hurt. So someone please tell me, is it okay for it to hurt?

Yes, if you were hurt that way it is supposed to hurt. It might hurt for a few days too. Your clitoris is actually sorta of like a very long penis. Only the very end of it is outside your body. But if the little bit on the outside of your body gets hurt - teh whole thing will hurt.

The first day you might want to put a bag of ice between your legs. After that if it stil hurts use a really hot wash cloth to help with pain.

You see Diana, girls and guys really aren't that different. They are different mechanically (girls have different private parts than boys), but we all function quite similarly. Thus, a hit in the crotch can hurt both guys and gals just like a hit in the head can.
