First , let me tell you I'm 100% straight. This is how I feel as a straight person towards different people touching me in a friendly way by coming up BEHIND me... over the years.

If a woman touches her hand on my shoulder,it is a cold feeling till I identify her as a kind woman or someone I know. Then it's ok.But just briefly.

If a man touches my shoulder,as soon as I know it's a man, I get the creepiest, dreadful feeling. Even if I know them, there is a very quickly placed limit of tolerance.
If a man in casual conversation, touches me, I let it go the first time. If it happens again,I let them know.

Do you respond in a similar fashion?

I'm not Clay nor a man but I think men have taken being touched a little too far. When straight women touch one another it's ok, society don't think much of it. I have touched my friend's before in a non sexual way, i'm straight. I once touched all over her chest to see how her new bra felt lol. It's not a big deal. When a man touches another man in a friendly way he automatically takes it the wrong way. It's ok for him to place his hand on the other man's shoulder, it's ok to hug another man or even kiss him on the cheek. If no sexual feelings are involved then there's nothing wrong with it. I think the media has brainwashed people into thinking a simple touch is more than just that, especially for men.

I've never really thought about this Gregorio. I don't mind handshaking with guys or girls. If a guy or a girl touched my shoulders from behind, I guess I wouldn't have a problem with that. Now if a guy were to grab my ass or slap my ass, I'd probably turn around and puch his lights out. If a girl did it, I probably wouldn't mind or I might like it. Unfortunately, girls don't seem to like touching me much.
