Hi Susan my problem is that im a lad of 24 years old, my penis is one inch long and when erect it is three inch long so my penis is very short and thin. Im so unhappy with this and it gets me very down is there any thing out there for me? Should i go and see my doctor? Many thanks

Yes, if your penis is really as small as you describe - you should see a doctor. There may be a medical problem present and treatment MIGHT be effective when it is this small. But given your age, I have my doubts. This is somethng that would have been discovered by a doctor when you were younger and were still growing.

Just go in and see a doctor and tell him you think your penis is abnormally small. And you would like to know if there is anything that can be done to correct the situation. The doctor will have to examine you. You may need a blood test to determine if you have an hormone deficientcies. If you do, if could be taht taking them MIGHT increase your size. There may be other possibilities too depending on what the docotr's examination finds.

Most people say that size doesn't matter, so I guess you shouldn't worry about it too much Paul. I'm 25 and my penis when erect is only 6 inches long anyhow. Some women though prefer larger cocks when they have sex.

6 inches is an ordinary sized penis. Not small, not big - just the average size.
3 inches is not an ordinary size when erect. It is small - smaller than what is ordinary. It doesn't mean anything IS wrong with it, and it doesn't mean it can't work just fine, but it IS worth discussing with a doctor.

Yes, size doesn't matter entirely - it is skill that counts the most, but 3 inches is small and I would see a doctor if I had a penis that small just in case there was something that could be doen to help it grow a bit more.

I know you are trying to be encouraging - but to say your is twice as big isn't really a lot of help.

Sorry Susan. I was just trying to help. I used to think my penis was a little small, after watching pornos with guys that had 8 or 10 inch cocks, but I guess a 3 inch penis is something to concerned about.

Years ago, no one ever discussed this type of thing. Today, doctors are very concerned about a persons health, and issues concerning their sex life, are very important to them. Anything and everything is discussed openly today. It is NOT a time to be shy. "Hey, there it is...take a look". The important thing is to find a specialist who is familiar with these issues who can give you sound advice/ treatment.And Susan is correct...it may be a hormonal problem. Point is...get out there and satisfy your curiosity. It may start with a phone call/visit to your family doctor, but end up with a Urologist/ Sexual Specialist, but you want to take that first step. If you have any other related issues that bother you, this would be the time to talk them over. Be sure to come back here and let us know.

Thank got appointment on tuesday 8august 3.10pm with the doctor. So see how things go from there.

Hey Susan, are there any really good penis enlarging surguries available for someone like Paul who has a very small penis? I remember watching a program about them, and I recall that there are lots of risks with surgery (as with all surgeries). I know there are also penile implants and extenders.

All surgery presents risks. I would not consider surgery on my most sensitive body part unless the risk of failure was no worse than what I was currenlty experiencing.

Penis extenders don't provide pleasure to the man - so I would look to become more skilled in other sexual activities and learn to use sex toys well.

Sex toys are fun to use.
