| - does warts stay with you forever?
i have gotten treatment for mine and they are gone... and i have had 2 pap smeers done since and they said im clean.... but i was wondering if i can still give it to my new partner.....

Once you have the virus you have the virus forever. But you can only pass on the virus when it is active. Trouble is there is no way to absolutely know if it is active or not.

What does a pap smear have to do with her warts? Unless, the wart was down there?? My sister had a wart on her scalp, the doctor froze it off.

The presence of genital warts makes cervical cancer more likely. Warts on your head are from an entirely different virus than warts on your genitals.
