Wishing to make contact with any descendants or people who may have knowledge of George Bawtree, who was Mayor of Colchester in 1838-39. George's daughter, Bertha Ellen Bawtree (About 1841 - 1920) married John William Owsley (1840 -1929), barrister and alderman. They had five children, Gertrude Cicely, Fenwick, Catherine Edith, George Chetwode and Sybil Bertha.
Any information of these families wpould be appreciated.
