Has anyone information on Clingo hill Colchester.
I believe my family lived there in the late sixteenth century thus the name.
The first Clingo is believed to be a Italian Merchant that settled in Dorset and became a Yeoman farmer.
After hard times the family worked its way arround the south coast and settled in Colchester and farmed on Clingo hill.
