If Baskin wasn't trained all his life against talking back to his superiors, he might have a few things to say to T.L., like 'You weren't born to our way of life, you were born in this 'uneducated' junkyard', or 'The only reason you've found favour in Chauncy is that you've found favour in Chauncy's sister!'
