Aurelia used Lil's question as an excuse to not answer Misto. It wasn't that she didn't want to tell Misto. She was kind of ashamed though and certainly didn't want to tell such a story in front of a young kitten. "Well, Lil, a cousin is a kind of relative. It's when your mommy or daddy and their mommy or daddy are brothers or sisters."
