Her eyes seemed to laugh. "But lover of only one," she chided playfully.

+A pair of eyes watched the two lovers as they played around in the moon's twillight. The cold graps of winter had its hold on the owner of such intriging eyes and made it shudder slightly+

Kato nuzzled her and smiled "Mate of only the one as well."

"A perfect pair," she said softly, nuzzling his nose affectionately.

Crunch -Ahh... the twigs were still kind of fresh and were just fragile enough to snap under the weight placed upon them- "You are loosing your touch... getting old" -The figure thought to themselves... They prayed that the couple had not heard it but being cats... they probably did-

Kato rubbed his nose to hers and purred ever happier. "I could not agree more."

"What was that?" she whispered, ears perked. She blushed suddenly. "It was probably just my imagination..."

He turned his head around quickly having heard the snap as well. "No I don't think so.." He released her and moved to where the snap had come from. "Who's there?"

"Just an admirer..." -The voice spoke, deep and raspily. Shaking their head, the animal settled down.-

Cassandra stiffened in fear, watching Kato ever so carefully. She didn't know what to say in response to the eerie voice, and so she was content to keep her gaze glued to her hero.

"Well you can come on out and admire us while we can admire you." he kept between cassandra and the stranger and took a step back to let them come out.

-The figure sat in silence. He was trying to gather information about all the cats in the junkyard so his clan could maybe get dirt and start something...-

"What do you want from us?" she whispered, coming up behind Kato and hanging on to her big and burly protector.

Kato looked at the eyes. "Well would you care to introduce yourself? You won't make a good name for yourself in the darkness."

-Shady emerged from the bushes slightly- "Oh, but the darkness is the only friend that can be trusted." -Peridot eyes glowed in the darkness-

"The moon holds the darkest of secrets," she whispered, as if in agreement with the stranger's statement.

"Darkness also hides things and what truthful being hides anything?" He looked at the new cat not sure if he should say anything or not.

"Truthful? Oh no... who said anything about being truthful?" -He gave a crooked smirk- "Beware young love birds... the end is near..." -And with that final word he departed from the scence-

Cassandra looked up at Kato, eyes wide with fear as she turned her gaze from the mysterious creature. She clung tightly to him, and after a moment, buried her head on his shoulder. "Oh, Bast..."

He put his arm aorund her that was not being held onto. "It is alright love. Nothing will happen."

"Do you really think so?" she murmured.

"I do." He asured and kissed her upon the nose.
