*Starlight sighed and headed over to where she knew Coricopat generally slept. He wasn't there right then, which didn't surprise her. She was a bit sad about it though. She shook her head and placed a folded piece of paper by his den, hoping he would find it. She then turned around and walked out of the yard. I'm not really sure what to say here except I'm sorry, for anything I may have done to upset you before. I've not seen you for a while and I miss you...But I've realized something...I need to leave the yard, at least for a while. I can't stay here and be alone even when I love you...I do want you to remember that I do love you, more than anything...but if you decide to take another queen as your mate it won't matter, at least I'll try not to let it matter. I guess I'll see you whenever I return to the yard, however long until that time, I don't know. Good-bye.

*When Coricopat found and read the letter he was crushed. Not only was he devoted to her, but it was an unexpected blow, which only deepened the wound that the letter created. Dropping the letter, he backed away slowly, before turning and running from the yard; he couldn't deal with being around anyone else, he needed to be alone with his thoughts.*
