Jenna Lyn sat in the basket that was now her home. Baskin was napping next to her, but the kittens were playing right outside the basket. She watched them, smiling. She thought she might go visit her mother later.

Adele shook her grey fur and glared at Reid. "That's not fair, Reid!"

"Sure it is!" Reid said. He was on his back, tail waving idly. "It's a word game! You said Mama, so I said Adele! Mama ends with the same letter Adele starts with."

"But I don't know any words that start with 'E'!" Adele replied, close to tears. "You think you're so smart!|

"Elephant." He said, smugly. "They're these big animals with huge noses. "You need a 'T' word now!"

"That's not true! You made that word up!" Adele protested, ineffectually. Her brother was smart, she knew that.

"I'm no good at this game. You know all sorts of words and letters. How come you know so much?"

"I dunno." Reid said. "I just know stuff." He looked around. "If you don't wanna play the word game, what do you want to do?"

*The silver queen silently walked past, not even noticing the kittens as she was apparently lost in thought.*

The kitten spied the queen though, and bounded after her. "Hey! Hey! Want to play with us?"

*Luna stopped, blinking in surprise. She smiled softly.* Sure, I don't see why not.

Reid followed his sister up to the queen. "I'm Reid, this is my sister Adele." He introduced them. "She doesn't wanna play word games no more so we've gotta find something else to play."

*Luna smiled softly.* I see. What other games do you know?

"I know tag!" Adele piped up. Reid grimaced. "Reid don't like it much, though."

*Luna smiled again.* Then I'll teach you both a game. It's a little like tag, but different. It's hide and seek. One of us has to count, or can just wait a little while. Then the one waiting has to try and find where the others are hiding.

Adele grinned. "Ooh! Can I be the finder?" She asked, eagerly.

*Luna grinned.* Sure you can. How high can you count Adele?

Adele frowned. 'Counting' was one of those things she thought she was too little for, but Reid could do it. She didn't like how Reid knew so many big cat things even though they were just little. Then, her face lit up as she remembered something Reid showed her.

"One, two, three!" She counted enthusiastically, pointing at herself, Reid, and then Luna in turn.

*Luna smiled.* Not bad. How about this, think you can count to three three times in a row?

She nodded solemly. "Ok, I can do that."

~ Cute kitt. ~ *Luna thought to herself.* Good, now, while you are counting, we'll hide. Then after you count you've got to try and find either of us, or both of us. *She looked at Reid.* Ready? *She asked them both.*

They both nodded. "Ready."

Right, now cover your eyes and start counting, then we'll go an hide.
