Hmm, just having a look through the footrule, and there are loads of units mentioned therein that should theoretically exist, which the site says do exist, but which do not actually seem to exist. Anyone have any data on this. Some of the units are the:


Ouncedal (=oz*ft/s/s) [obviously a part of a foot-ounce-second system]
Duty = 1 ft-lbf
mid = 1/24 inch

It is clear that you had a few drinks before posting your question , hence the mix up of postname and subject.

Then I used the time honoured old joke of us "working types" funding your booze (you being a "student type") via our taxes.

I've had a heavy afternoon - I apologise for the poor "joke".

And I've just learned that I'm working this friday.
