96° & Diet of Worms

Tony,

Regarding your statement of September 2nd @ 10.52 a.m.

''I think 98.4° was acceptable to most people, rather than saying 98 2/5°. Mind you, when we went over to Celsiusgrade, they upgraded it to 98.6°. Was that so we ended up with a neat Celsiusgrade heat temperature of 63 Ct, rather than 63 1/9 Ct? When I was on the Diet of Worms, I took my own temperature and found that it was 100.5° or 101°.''

Tony, before we go any further, I don't know how you took your temperature, and don't try to tell me.

Tony, I don't know how they sell thermometers in the United Kingdom of Ulster & Grand Breton, but in the United States of America all thermometers are sold with an oral chart, as follows:

96.8° tip of tongue @ 3 minutes
97.4° top of tongue at front @ 3 minutes
98.0° top of tongue at middle @ 3 minutes
98.2° back of mouth @ 3 minutes
98.6° underneath back of tongue @ 3 minutes

Armpit temperatures @ 3 minutes or @ 10 minutes are always less accurate and lower than oral temperatures.

Rectum temperatures @ 3 minutes are always more accurate and higher than oral temperatures.

0° to 96° is the Common Temperature Scale

32° is the freezing point of distilled water

96° is man's armpit temperature

Tony, the 1520 Diet of Worms at the Imperial City of Worms, Empire of Holy Rome, was the most important meeting in the history of the West Europe Sub-Continent & the Britanic Islands. It is irrelevant that the Empire of Holy Rome wasn't imperial, wasn't holy, and wasn't roman.

When in 1520 the Papist Church Pope Leo X issued a bullshit condemning Martin Luther's teaching, Luther publicly burnt it. In 1520 Luther was ex-communioned from the Papist Church. In 1520 the Imperial Diet at the Imperial City of Worms and His Imperial Majesty Emperor Charles V of the Empire of Holy Rome summoned Luther before the Diet. When before them, Luther was declared an outlaw, and then once again was asked to recant his views. Luther then spoke to Emperor Charles V and the Diet of Worms:

''Your Imperial Majesty and Your Lordships demand a simple answer. Here it is, plain and unvarnished. Unless I am convicted of error by the testimony of Scripture or: since I put not trust in the unsupported authority of pope or of councils, since it is plain that they have often erred and often contradicted themselves: by manifest reasoning, I stand convicted by the Scriptures to which I have appealed, and my conscience is taken captive by God's word. I cannot and will not recant anything, for to act against our conscience is neither safe for us, nor open to us. On this I take my stand. I can do no other. God help me. Amen.''

Am I not correct in mentioning that this is the first mention of "rectum" on these boards?

Here's another one then:

"Chinrest"

Yeah, whatever, I can't remember the actual medical name for it.
