BBC Weather forecasts (part two)

I hope, for your general well being, you didn't just watch the weather after the BBC1 (10pm) news!

No - my TV was firmly locked onto ITV for the whole evening...and what an enjoyable evening it was. Even the odd mention of the word 'yards' didn't spoil it!

I saw the weather on ITV though, and no mention of the F word. At least 5 people in the office have mentioned it getting a bit warm this weekend, and not one has referred to any odd-sounding high figures - some said 25, some 27 etc..

Yes you are right. Those are odd sounding "high figures". In fact they look quite low.

What ratio of yards:metres were used?

Perhaps martin can tell us - unless there's a sorrowful reason why he "isn't a fan of football"
