Two Metric Car Park Signs in Camden: One Removed

Two metric signs were seen recently in Camden Town, at the junction of Bayham Street and Pratt Street, bearing the legend 'P - 20m' with an arrow pointing to the car park in Pratt Street.

One of these illegal signs has been removed and taken to a place of safety. The other is located around 14 feet high on a post and was beyond the resources of the Signswatch Team to remove.

The removal of the sign will be reported shortly to the London Borough of Camden.

Good work - they told me that they'd remove it ages ago!

Incidentally, I am a member. I reported that sign in Camden to the Council last summer. They said that they were going to remove it within a fortnight, and they didn't. I also reported a sign on Euston Rod, pointing up North Gower Street, slong with one at the top of Camden Street, and one on Camden Road, pointing down Camden Street, one also at the top of Camden High Street (too high to reach!). Check if any of those have been changed! And check the signs at the traffic lights next to Kentish Town Station pointing to the recycling centre and the car pound. When I reported those signs to the Council, they said that they referred them to the Parking Solutions Dept. A month later, I telephoned that department to ask what the latest was, and they still were unaware that such signs were in place
