| Following the story in last Sunday's 'Mail on Sunday' about ARM, Mr DB from Derby writes:
"After the article in the 'Mail on Sunday', I would like to congratulate you on your campaign. I have heard of your exploits but until yesterday I didn't know how to contact you. I even tried to find your website, to no avail; perhaps you could send me the full site details.
"In the end I was able to find your address after going on the Google search website and then on to alt.politics.british which gave me the information regarding the aims of ARM.
"I would like to bring to your attention an area we visit which is controlled by Crewe and Nantwich Council, Cheshire.
"The Council has been doing the footpaths and canal banks for greater use of the general public, and a nice job they are doing too. The one thing that mars the whole thing is that all the signs are in metric - not a yard, or feet, anywhere to be seen.
"Hope you can put a fly in their ointment! Or better still a foot in their metric.
"Yours faithfully,
DB"
