Whilst on my way to Priddy Fair, I noticed a metric only road sign stuck miles from anywhere. I have duly noted it and will be contacting Somerset County Council regarding it. (at the speed I get things done, it may not be before Christmas.) SCC, incidentally have gone sign mad with yellow road markings, speed restriction signs, etc., also speed camera signs. You name it, they have erected it. Priddy Fair, by the way, is held in the village of Priddy, right up in the Mendips. Its a sheep and pony fair with stalls and rides and is worth a visit if you are ever in the area at fair time.
